Key to First DataBank Europe’s success is a constant focus on customer needs, through dedicated account management and the proactive sales management of new customer prospects. We are currently recruiting for a Sales & Marketing Director to make a strong contribution to this success and the continued development of the business as an active member of the company’s Senior Management Team.

The purpose of the Sales & Marketing Director is to provide leadership and direction to the Sales, Marketing and Product Development teams, ensuring that activities are executed in a professional, well co-ordinated and integrated manner.

Key areas of involvement include; driving forward new product developments; devising, planning and implementing sales and marketing strategies in line with the overall business plan; achieving significant year on year revenue growth; bringing greater focus to FDBE’s understanding of customer requirements.

With an increasingly strong focus on international growth, strategies will need to be adapted to a wider, more global audience, generating efficiencies and synergies wherever possible.
 
This rewarding role demands a strongly motivated self-starter with gravitas and well-developed leadership skills. The successful applicant will have a significant track record of success within a commercial business environment and possess the ability to drive business forward in a dynamic fashion. Strong presentation and negotiating skills are essential attributes.

Extensive sales and ‘classical’ marketing experience (as opposed to pure marketing communications) are both crucial to the position.

A confident and enthusiastic team player with excellent communication and business skills will thrive in this role. The success of this role, and therefore the Sales & Marketing department, demands an individual prepared to lead from the front, with a passion to achieving outstanding results.
