Joint Marketing

As a company we believe it is crucial to work closely with all areas of a customer's organisation, and this includes marketing. By encouraging close collaboration on marketing activity, we enhance the profile of First DataBank Europe's products and the customer's system amongst end users and with a wider external audience.

We are proactive in public relations as we believe that healthcare IT developments which improve patient safety are of paramount importance. We work with customers to write and distribute press releases. Typically, these releases announce details of new business partnerships, joint initiatives, joint sponsorship or new developments within a customer's system based on the functionality we provide.

Throughout the year we attend and exhibit at a number of key healthcare events, raising the profile of our customers and their systems.

We work closely with customers on a range of marketing literature including case studies and customer product literature. Our case studies are featured on this website and included in our corporate information packs which are distributed at industry events and in response to sales enquiries. We also provide input on a customer's product literature for a launch or a roll-out, specifically advising on how to promote the value of our products within the customer's system.

We participate in customer user groups in order to obtain end user feedback, and we often provide experienced speakers at these events to demonstrate how to maximise the clinical decision support within the system. We also organise clinical workshops with smaller groups of users.
