First DataBank is delighted to announce that Mark Treleaven, newly appointed Sales and Marketing Director, has also been successfully reappointed as a member of Intellect’s Health Council for a further three years.
Intellect is the trade association for the IT industry with over 750 member companies providing a collective voice for its members and driving connections with government, industry regulators and business.
Having already spent three years on the Health Council, Mark knows the value of this lobby group in defining the agenda for the wider Intellect healthcare group which has the largest membership body within the Intellect framework.
Mark said, “Participation in the Intellect Health Council provides an opportunity, amongst others, to influence the industry response to the serious financial challenges that the NHS is facing.” Within the health landscape, Mark sees the role of IT as being key to supporting and delivering the QIPP (Quality, Innovation, Prevention and Productivity) objectives.
Also, the debate and information exchange within the Intellect Health Council affords a unique understanding of the global health and IT environments. This perspective will be invaluable for the ongoing strategic development of First DataBank to ensure the company continues to anticipate health industry changes and to deliver optimum clinical decision support tools to First DataBank’s broad customer base.
