New Product Developments

First DataBank is continuously developing and progressing existing and new functionality and products to ensure that we remain at the forefront of patient safety improvements. We run an active product development programme based upon feedback from customers and end users, national requirements and newly emerging standards for clinical systems.

Our latest new product is FIRSTLight, the point of care decision support tool offers web based drug information for healthcare professionals. Packed with features, FIRSTLight is available online or on the move via an iPhone or iPad.

FIRSTLight is available to anyone responsible for managing treatment using a medication. Also, clinical system vendors can easily embed a link to FIRSTLight within their clinical systems enabling rapid launch of the product with a ‘drug in focus’.

FIRSTLight is the first of a number of new stand-alone products that First DataBank is planning to launch. Click here for more information about FIRSTLight.
